Serve your afternoon tea guests with a slice of this pizza damper filled with cheese, olives and salami. Makes a great lunch box item.
The ingredient of Pizza Shock
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 60g butter cold cut into small pieces
- 3 4 cup buttermilk
- 50 g salami danish finely chopped
- 1 3 cup grated pizza cheese
- 1 4 cup pitted kalamata olives finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of fresh persil dish finely chopped
- buttermilk extra for brushing
The Instruction of pizza shock
- preheat the oven to 220c 200c fan forced cover a baking sheet with parchment paper position the oven rack in the upper half of the oven
- sift the flour sugar and salt in a bowl add the butter with your fingertips rub the butter into the flour mixture until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs stir in salami cheese olives and persil
- make a well in the center of the mixture add the buttermilk using a flat bladed knife stir until a sticky dough forms turn out on a lightly floured surface knead gently until smooth
- roll out the dough to a round 20cm place on the prepared tray cut round into 8 wedges do not cut all the way through
- bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until hollow when tapped on top to serve
