Slow Roasted Lamb


Have the week sorted with succulent roast lamb which can be used to create tasty, fuss-free meals.

The ingredient of Slow Roasted Lamb

  • 1 5kg lamb shoulder bone in
  • 2 garlic cloves quartered
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

The Instruction of slow roasted lamb

  • preheat oven to 160c 140c fan forced using a sharp knife cut 8 slits into top of lamb insert garlic pieces into slits
  • place lamb in medium roasting pan add 1 cup cold water to pan drizzle lamb with oil season with salt and pepper roast for 1 hour 30 minutes cover with foil roast for a further 2 hours or until lamb is tender set aside to cool
  • remove and discard bone shred meat divide lamb in half transfer to snap lock bags refrigerate until required
